Besides the ability to speak, the one thing that has always concerned me about parrots is their exceptionally long life spans.The oldest parrot on record is a Blue and Gold Macaw named Charlie. Charlie was owned by Winston Churchill, and is believed to be 104 years of age. If we're not careful, parrots could take over this planet in the next 500 years and when they do, any living relative of Jimmy Buffet is in deep trouble.
