Ever since mermaids began roaming the oceans they have set unrealistic expectations for young, impressionable fish. Fish these days are the victims of a materialistic ocean society that puts two much pressure on them to be thin and beautiful when they're already dealing with the daily pressure of trying to survive. Just the other day when I was deep sea diving off the coast of Peru and I saw a yellow tang fish that looked like it just got a gill job. The poor kid was only two years old for crying out loud.
