#2 John Belushi - Belushi paved the way for the fat comedians of today and he's the reason that there's at least one fat cast member on every season of Saturday Night Live. I guess that means we could technically blame him Horatio Sans, but sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.
#1 Chris Farley - Farley's death was pretty much the equivalent of the Kennedy Assasination for teenagers of the 90's who all still speak in Chris Farley quotes to this day.

I would have removed Jason Alexander (he's a little chunky, but not really fat), and one of the cartoon fatties, and added Jackie Gleason and Curly Howard instead. Oh yeah, Lou Costello and Oliver Hardy should probably be on the list, too.

Go father back and you'll find early film star Fatty Arbuckle, more recently Rodney Dangerfield, Jonathan Winters, Don Rickles etc... Good grief. what kind of a Dr. are you? Do some research.
